Hi everyone.

I’m in year 8 at the minute at high school. I was diagnosed with type 1 when I was in year 7. My bg was really good until summer when I went on holiday. Since then my bloods have been really up and down and I’m sick of it. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can get my blood back under control.

Hi,
Different daily routines e.g. holiday then back to school can really mess up your insulin needs.
I would suggest that you have a chat with your diabetes specialist nurse. It may be that you need to adjust your basal insulin.
Good luck, and try not to get too stressed about it - stress doesn't help!
