I was wondering how well you are controlling your t1d, what results are you achieving for HbA1c.
when diagnosed mine was 11 ( that was 4 month ago). yesterday i checked it and it was 5.8 which is acceptable.

If only controlling T1D and HbA1c measurements were completely and utterly tied together - unfortunately they are not. Hopefully you are doing really well and not having much variance in your blood levels, but it is also possible for someone to rollercoaster from hyper to hypo and back up again continuously and get a hba1c of 5.8 as well.
Yes HCPs swear blind by it but it's not the only result to work with/consider.
