I am 31 years old & have been on pump for nearly 8 years
I have the Animas Vibe & take Humalog insulin.
Really struggling with highs lately, woke up this am to 13.9-corrected & had breakfast which bolused for, later in in an I was 7.9. Went for a long walk & could feel I was dropping- 2.6-took 4 lucozades, then had a coffee & toasted tea cake- which I bolused for. After about 30 mins did a bm & I was 7, hour later didn't feel good-22.9?!! So I've now changed my set & corrected
Basically though my numbers are highish on 1st waking & creep up in afternoon-I've looked at my basal rate & already altered it,just seems I am suddenly requiring more insulin. I am an active person & eat healthily really most of the time. Just really struggling with this at the mo, tbh felt knackered last wk as had been high every day
