testing strips

Good morning everyone.

Just a wee question. Do we need to handle the strips carefully to avoid touching the chip and the blood sucker end ? I try but it's hard to get them out the tube thing lol

As far as I'm aware you don't have to worry about touching either end of the test strip, blood is drawn into the strip under a protective film so touching that end won't contaminate the strip (especially as you've already washed your hands prior to taking the bg strip out of the container).
