Total carbs???

i know everyone's carb goal is different but I have a general question hope you can get the gist of what I need to know
If I mix 3 items of dry products with different carb content into one batch of product do I total the carb value of each item into final product then divide the total amount of carbs by the amount I eat
Reading this post it doesn't seem to make much sense even to me hope someone can understand what I mean

If I make a meal e.g. Bolognese I add up carbs of everything in it then divide by number of portions - which is what you seem to be doing. Hope that helps.
