I agree. It was very yummy.
Before eating I was 6.2
@2 hours 6.5
@3 hours 7.8
@4 hours 7.2
So I didn't come down that fast. I will test again after having the leftovers for lunch today.
But you didn't pass 7.8 either so good result for yummy warming food.....

B: golden milk

L: salad with hummus, Cauldron tofu pieces and mixed seeds

D: stuffed mushrooms on leaves with balsamic vinegar. I used the Deliciously Ella recipe, subbed the pine nuts for sunflower seeds and it worked really well.

Snack: almond milk and brazil nuts

Photo to prove that for once my lunch managed not to get all squished and upside down on the way to work today! :joyful:

I really enjoyed it. Her blog has a few interesting meals I want to try.
I was wondering when recipes use a cream for a base if hummus would work with extra olive oil?
I saw a lasagne recipe recently and they used hummus for the sauce so that might work. Creamed cashews are also good for creaminess. I suppose it depends on the dish. Do you have one in mind?

Thinking of layering the veggies with hummus instead of cheese and cream.
But creamed cashews might work too.
Wow!

Here are a few more gratin ideas. I like the look of #6 and #9

Will look for the lasagne recipe. Be right back...

Here it is. With veg instead of pasta obviously

Maybe Alpro soya cream? Or a rice (Rice Dream I think) cream? Found a few when trying to find dairy/lacto free for my granddaughter before Xmas

Liquorice and aniseed (especially the tracer I have to drink in hospital before a CT scan - yuk!)

Could avocado work as a base?
