Keep going with using bernstein's aid. A useful book to keep.

Non-chatty site abandoned due to anticipation of a virtual slapped wrist...6.8 yesterday am...and a few 6s this week which is a step back from the nice wee 5s I was getting. I may have let my carb intake sneak up a teeny bit...so i'll see if I can make a dent in it. Nice to see some other I have really found helpful and just nice in general have made the chat jump too.

I had to hunt the thread down too (on Diabetes Discussions) rather than keep using the link posted on the other thread...and I thought about just keeping to the other thread but clearly only numbers are really wanted there. I think I'm on this one now anyway.

Καλημέρα σε σας όλα τα καλά μπολ μου πλούσιος νόστιμο κλέφτικο αρνί. This morning I picked a shell from the beach of the Endocrine Sea. I did the right thing and of course stuck it to my ear and the shell spoke to me with a lilting voice I heard 3.3mmols. These psychedelic drugs are kinda groovy baby.,now I must walk my little doggie and toddle off to work. May you all have that Friday feeling :)

I don't see this initiative as "stressing" or "manners policing". I see it as structuring the website to meet everyone's needs. You wouldn't go to the library if you wanted to buy a loaf of bread, would you? This website is a living, evolving community and it makes sense to provide a proper structure, so that members know where to go to find exactly what they're looking for. If a website ceases to meet the needs of its members, they will drift away and the site will die.

Personally, due to other commitments I frequently find myself with very little time in the mornings. It's important for me to take and record my FBG to help me stay on track, but equally I want to be able to support other members through the ratings system, applauding a run of good consistent readings or commiserating with an unexplained dip. Having a thread which is succinct and to the point helps me to do this and still meet my other morning obligations. I can then indulge in chatting and socialising with other members in the evenings on one of the specific 'chat' threads, when I have more time.

Of course, other members want to record their FBGs and enjoy reaching out for a chat at the same time. I applaud this, of course, and this new structure is designed to allow members to do exactly that.

I say, well done, Mods, for identifying a need and applying an intelligent solution!
