According to current celebrity news, diabetes could have been involved in the death of Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the cause of death.
According to celebrity gossip site TMZ.com, Murphy’s mother told paramedics that her daughter has a history of diabetes . Her mother found Brittany unconscious in the shower yesterday and called 911 to alert emergency services .
Recent research indicated that adults with diabetes face a much greater risk of heart attack or stroke, including death by cardiovascular causes. People with diabetes are thought to face a twice greater likelihood of death following a heart attack .
At this stage, the possibility of diabetes in the tragic death of this young actress remains unconfirmed.
