Scientists are now discovering increasingly more benefits of drinking coffee, from combating cancer, keeping fatigue at bay and lowering your risk of Type 2 Diabetes .
"Coffee has antioxidants that are known as polythenals, and those can help to prevent type-2 diabetes, Parkinson's disease, memory decline and advanced prostate cancer," said executive director Jennifer Cook.
We on average, consume about three cups of coffee a day. However. for maximum effect, do not drink it all all through the morning.
It is better to sip it, even 6 to 8 little sips each hour until the early afternoon, as it keeps you alert.
There is also evidence to say that drinking coffee boosts memory as well as other cognitive functions.
It is not surprising that coffee helps your endurance for long-duration activities, such as, running.
Should you be concerned about the level of caffeine in coffee, choose decaf. You are still going to get some of the same benefits.
However, shoud you be a coffee drinker, it is reassuring to know that you are getting more than an energy pick up in a cup or mug.
