You are potentially 5 times more likely to have angina, a heart attack or suffer a stroke. And that's exactly why managing the condition is so important, which is where Synexus could help.

Because new and improved medications are needed to help control the condition, Synexus are currently running a clinical study into the effectiveness of a new treatment for Type 2 Diabetes.

• Aged 55 to 80 years old
• Have type 2 diabetes

Preference will be given to applications living in or close to the following areas:

• Manchester
• Birmingham
• Reading
• Cardiff
• Glasgow
• Chorley
• Merseyside (Crosby)

All reasonable out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed once you are accepted onto a study.

You'll have regular access to a specialist Healthcare Clinician and the treatment could help you control your diabetes and reduce associated risk factors.

There is no obligation for you to participate, but if you do decide to take part your GP will be kept fully informed. Calls may be monitored and recorded for quality and training purposes.
