Kraft Foods Inc, the major food manufacturing company, are launching a new initiative that is designed to provide support for the millions of Americans who are suffering from the disease.
The new initiative is called Good Eating, Good Living, and takes several media forms. Presented as a radio show, a direct mail publication and an online website, Good Living aims to help diabetics understand their condition.
Andrea Brow, the senior director of the Strategic Marketing Initiatives at Kraft Foods reportedly commented: “Research shows that many people with diabetes often feel isolated and confused, and most do not have direct access to nutrition and fitness consultants. Through Good Eating, Good Living, we will offer the much-needed education, food solutions, lifestyle tips and support this community is looking for, so that they can better manage their condition.”
Each aspect of the company program will offer support and solutions.
