The Public Health Collaboration (PHC) has announced its line-up of world class health experts taking part in the PHC’s fourth annual conference.
Among the speakers announced are Prof Robert Lustig, Dr Zoe Harcombe PhD, Dr Aseem Malhotra and Tom Watson MP.
The conference will take place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May 2019 at the Royal College of General Practitioners in London.
The PHC is a charity that is dedicated to informing and implementing healthy decisions for better public health and recognises the benefits that low carb, real food diets can have for individuals as well as the wider health of nations.
The weekend will start with Prof Robert Lustig asking questions of the healthcare system in his talk on ‘Corporate wealth or public health?’.
Back from last year are Dr David Unwin, discussing whether salt has been blamed for problems caused by sugar, and Dr Zoe Harcombe PhD, who will look into the often-misunderstood area of fibre in the diet.
Dr Ian Lake, a GP with type 1 diabetes, will discuss our own Type 1 Program and the usefulness of low carb diets for people with type 1.
Tom Watson MP and Charlotte Summers, Chief Operating Officer at Diabetes Digital Media will also present at the event.
Sam Feltham, Director of the Public Health Collaboratio, said: “I’m very excited to be hosting our fourth annual Public Health Collaboration conference, and even more excited to have it at the Royal College of General Practitioners for the second time.
“With the likes of Prof Robert Lustig, Dr Zoe Harcombe PhD and Tom Watson MP, it’s set to be a fantastic weekend full of incredible insights and real food fun.”
Tickets to the event are available on the PHC website.
