This Sunday is Mother’s Day, a time to celebrate our mothers and grandmothers and show them just how much they mean to us. Being a mum is a tough job, mothers take on lots of different roles and it may sometimes feel like there’s not enough time in the day, or that you need an extra pair of arms!
It’s currently the middle of exam season, which can be a stressful time of year for many young people and their families – even without diabetes being added to the mix!
Whether you’re a student sitting an exam or a parent or caregiver supporting their child, we have some suggestions on how to reduce exam stress and balance those blood sugars.
Mother’s day is an opportunity to show our mums just how much we love and appreciate them. Being a parent can be demanding and exhausting and often you put your child’s needs before your own. Practicing regular self-care is something many of us (especially busy mums) don’t do very often. But this doesn’t mean we should overlook its importance.
