12.6.19... DAY TWELVE
Published by Geordie lass in the blog Geordie lass's blog. Views: 637
Dear Dia-BULLY,
It’s been another “normal” day today. We’ve kept each other happy, haven’t we? 12 days of being good to one another, this has got to be a record for us!! I know there will be a day when we will have a bad day and get on each other’s nerves, but until such a day, I’m happy with the way we are working at the moment. Thank you!
BGL’s at bedtime last night were 7.7mmol/L. I’m ok with this reading. Blood ketones were fantastic at 4.4mmol/L, up on the previous evening. This must be due to less protein yesterday. I’m liking these numbers.

Changed my CGM sensor at 6.30am when I awoke. My FBGL’s this morning were sitting pretty at 8.0mmol/L. So, not too far off bedtime’s reading. A small correction done and morning insulin given, job’s a good ‘un! Calibrated pump with finger prick reading. I had my morning coffees (x3), did some more sorting out…still lots to do.
Lunch was at 1.15pm, breaking an 18.75 hour fast. I had 95g roast lamb that was left over from last night’s dinner. It was lovely. Back to de-cluttering after lunch!

This afternoon I had an appointment to attend, so had my first afternoon coffee before I left. I didn’t get home until after 5pm. So, I had my dinner at 6pm which was oven baked salmon fillet, followed by cheesecake topping. That’s me done until after 1pm tomorrow. I’m hoping for a longer fasting period, maybe 20 hours. That’ll take me to 2pm tomorrow.

My BGL’s have been steady again today. All within normal limits.

The gap in the graph refers to a change in CGM Sensor. Takes time to "warm up" before it asks for a calibration!
My TDD remains pretty good. Net carbs @ 9g again.

My macronutrients have been spot on for another day. A little more protein today, but kept it under 55g. Hopefully, my blood ketones tonight will still be over 4mmol/L.

So, it’s been another good diabetes day. I’m just taking each day as it comes, because Dia-BULLY, we never know what is going to happen, do we?? Another gold star for us both, I think?! ⭐
