We are rockin’ this diabetes malarkey, aren’t we? Long may this continue? I hope I don’t get burnt out too soon. I know it will come at some point. But, for now I’m still enjoying my LCHF lifestyle. I’m still enjoying my normal BGL’s and I’m loving not craving carbs or feeling too hungry!! Dia-BULLY, I hope we can remain good to one another.
My bedtime BGL’s were a happy 6.3mmol/L last night. Blood ketones were an impressive 4.1mmol/L.
I slept well and awoke with a FBG of 7.5mmol/L. Did my morning finger prick, calibrated my pump and bolused for my morning coffees. Only needed a tiny correction this morning. Awesome!!
I’ve had another declutter day today. The weather has been so horrendous all day, it wasn’t worth crossing the front door. So, I stayed in and filled another couple of bags for charity as well as another bag for the rubbish bin. I didn’t realise how much useless stuff I have kept over the years!?! In between doing all my sorting, I had 3x morning coffees with cream. Delish!!
I finally finished decluttering at 1.30pm (19 hour fast), just in time for lunch of 125g Alpro Plain Unsweetened yoghurt, with 10g each of pumpkin seeds, Sunflower seeds, walnuts and macadamia nuts. Very filling!
My BGL’s have been steady all day again. No dramas there!
BGL currently 7.5mmol/L (8.45pm)
I ate dinner at 6.30pm. Roast chicken thighs. Scrumptious! No more food now until after 1pm tomorrow!
My TDD has been awesome again, having less insulin is great!
My macronutrients have been spot on yet again. I’ve had 10g net carbs, which is so brilliant. Who needs carbs to feel healthy? Certainly not me. I must refer back to this if I ever get tempted with the old carbs!!!
So Dia-BULLY, it’s been another great day for us both. Yes, we deserve another gold star to mark out efforts of team working and being kind to one another. Well done!! ⭐
