It’s been another good diabetes management day for me! How are you feeling about that?! I just love it when I have you under control and in your place. But, I won’t get too complacent as I know how you work and how you can flip my BGL’s without warning. So, thanks for being kind to me again today.
My bedtime BGL’s were 7.0mmol/L. Blood ketones were sitting at 3.4mmol/L.
Sleep was ok, just woke up early for a couple of hours (5am), then I slept in until 9am! Ugh! No wonder I have a headache. My FBG this morning was good at 4.0mmol/L, did my morning finger prick, calibrated my pump and bolused for my morning coffees…the usual morning routine. It’s a bit like Groundhog Day!
Another busy day today, went to view a property at 12noon, which I love. I’m hoping to offer as soon as I sell my place. I wasn’t hungry for lunch today, so skipped that…just had my usual 2 coffees with cream this afternoon. Finger prick done at 5pm, sitting at 4.0mmol/L. Calibrated my pump and gave insulin for my dinner later (dual wave over 1hr).
My BGL’s have been normal all day. They are currently 6.8mmol/L (8.30pm).
My dinner was a 150g Chicken Fajita stir fry, which I ate at 6pm (that’s a fast of about 22 hours). I quite enjoy doing this OMAD malarkey!
My TDD has been good today.
My macronutrients have been good. I’ve had 11g net carbs, which is better than yesterday.
So Dia-BULLY, it’s been another tremendous day for us. We both deserve another gold star to acknowledge our great efforts together. ⭐⭐Let’s keep on repeating this daily.
