Sorry did not know how to carry on with the other thread so started my own. At Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford we have a very good team who help all the diabetics with anything they want to know, information , training it brilliant. I keep records of my sugars and my food intake drop them off to them and within a couple of days they come back to me with any corrections to my insulin or diet i need to do. I am just starting to do this on spreadsheets so I will be able to e mail this to them speeding up this process. Since doing the Bertie course a while a go my understanding of my food intake to my insulin intake has increased 100%. the carbs and cals books are invaluable and well worth the money especially the small pocket version I take when eating out.
