Had my HbA1c levels done just over two weeks ago and they have risen from 46 (last year) to 48 now. Yesterday I had to have the test repeated but I am not sure why because I thought this test was the overall glucose level over a 8-12 week period. Surely there won't be a change 2 weeks later?
I have lost 6lbs the last 2 weeks because I am now obsessed with what I am eating. Some days I feel ill but I suppose it may be my bodies reaction to the sudden drastic change. I have noticed my skin looks better from all the water I am drinking though.
Now I am just waiting on the results. I was told last year I was pre-diabetic but no advice was given on the subject at all. I was just told to lose weight and sent packing by my doctor.
