I was diagnosed in January with an HAbc1 of 63. When I was tested 3 months later it was down to 41.

Somehow without trying (as such) I managed to lose 1 stone 10 lbs. Mainly by cutting out things such as potatoes and red meat.

For bread I eat Bergen linseed and soya or Lidls high protein.

I have had some higher readings than I would have liked lately

I test 1-2 hours after eating, as opposed to from time of testing. Am I right to be worried?

Most days, at the moment. I have porridge for breakfast. That tends to raise more than cheese on toast. Toast with butter also raises it more.

I can have a reading of as low as 3.7 to as high as 6.8 in the morning I have nocturia. Sometimes I can be up as many as 8 times with that. Could that have any effect on the readings? I also have a fatty liver.

I am 54 and live with 2 cats.

For exercise I mainly do 2x30 minutes of hard cycling on the turbo trainer and a lot of walking.

Any replies would be most appreciated.
