I am type 2 diabetic, and I’m really trying to shift it. I have been dieting hard by following a low carb diet, and have lost seven stone over the last twelve months, with three still to go to achieve my target weight of twelve stone (by Christmas?). But my surgery tells me that, though massively improved my diabetes is still wildly out of control.
This has prompted me to attack my diet with renewed vigour, but if anyone has any secret tips or hints I would be delighted to hear them! I confess I love my food, and find constant dieting a real chore, and yes, I’m an occasional recidivist to my shame!
