How do you adjust Lantus for different time zones?
We're off on hols to the US soon and I've heard that you need to adjust basal insulin to the new time zone. My son uses Lantus once a day at 10pm. Do we just give it at 10pm our (UK) time each day or do we adjust in some way to give it at 10pm in the US? I also hear that hot weather can reduce insulin needs - and indeed we've found that already during this hot spell at home. Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks
