Hey everyone ...
I literally just write what am thinking in my blogs so forgive if things don’t make a little sense or I’ve the odd spelling mistake etc ..
This isolation has made me think of a few things specially having that much time to think and not a lot to do..
so modelling and body imagine is something I wanna talk about as am
A 31 yr old woman I see a lot of clothes shops specially via email Who use a lot of beautiful models all different shapes and sizes.. religions and ethnic yetttttt we don’t see enough disabled models ???? I haven’t come across one model with either a diabetic sensor or pump attached to them no SPC on ther legs, no amputations or anything of the sort ... yet they go on about equal equality shouldn’t they be equal to disabled people also as the retailers are Ment to be targeting most categories whatever age, size, Skin colour yet there isn’t enough disabled models or is there any ?? Out there targeting people who live day in and out with visible disabilities Or people who have to use walking sticks, wheel chairs or SPC urine bags on their legs... so just getting it off my chest I think the likes of underwear stores or sports shops etc should promote more disabled modelling wearing their products and target all marketing because at the end of the day we all come in different shapes and sizes and who doesn’t wanna look and feel good right ??
