Not all about the weight!

Published by Little_Lynnie in the blog Little_Lynnie's blog. Views: 524

Just wanted to make the point that being diagnosed with Type II diabetes is not all about being overweight! I was diagnosed January 2016 weighing in at 8 stone! Only 5' tall and had a BMI of 22 and have never been overweight. My husband has been diabetic for about 16 years and IS overweight. We have both been on the low carb diet now for 6 weeks and he has lost 1.5 stone. I have lost a couple of kilo. We have enjoyed most meals but always keen to try something new.
