my daughter Kaydence has been diagnosed since she was 4 she is now 6 and was doing very well. she is taking novomix on a morning to cover her for breakfast and dinner at school it took her school 4 months to even do blood tests i get a phone call every day asking if i can come in to do a correction because she is so high (normally in the 20's) her morning insulin is constantly being upped she is on 11.5 units a day. lately she has been low allot mornings are 3.5 to 3.7 she has breakfast at home because school wont allow her to go to breakfast club. when she gets to school she has milk fruit then more fruit an hour later at dinner time bloods are coming in at 1.9 to 3.9 witch according to the school i need to do something about. i have spoken to the diabetes nurse numerous times and always get told just make sure she has a good breakfast (witch she always does).
