  1. Early in May of this year, my Doctor set me the challenge of losing 25 lbs by August of this year.


    It is with that goal in mind that I joined the Low Carb Program yesterday and took my first challenge under the program today to give up sugary drinks.


    So at lunchtime today, I drank some water after my meal instead of the usual soft drink.


    Now, what I must do for the best possible results is to add regular workouts on my Elliptical Machine to supplement the carbohydrate reduction.


    Add to this the traditional meals that I’m continuing to swap out with fruit and veggie smoothies.


    In July this year, my wife and I will celebrate 31 years of marriage and in addition to that, we’ve been blessed with two absolutely adorable grandchildren.


    I must do everything in my power to get healthy and get off of all of the medication I’m currently on, so that I can improve my quality of life and be in the best health I can be for me and my family.
