  1. Hello everyone. I was diagnosed T2 in February this year. I celebrated my 45th Wedding Anniversary last Saturday and we had a lovely 2 day visit to Chester. Kept an eye on diet (but not so closely), but pleased to say I had not put on any weight on my return. We loved walking around Chester and altogether did about 6 mile while there. Visit to GP before going and was told BG is now under control. It was 5.2 before breakfast on that day. Body weight and BMI have both gone down on my scale so I am pleased about that. I have gone down a size in trousers too. Why is weight so slow to reduce? I have increased exercise, walking/swimming but don't want to walk when it is raining. Has anyone else found weight slow to come off.
