I watched a program from a hospital here in Sydney where a diabetic patients BG readings would not come down by drugs. The doctors then put her on resistance exercises which she performed three times a week and after 18 months her readings were normal. Unfortunately they did not tell us her diet, but she was 74 and by continuing the exercises has kept her BG levels in the normal range for 6 years!
Has anyone had a similar experience as it appears that resistance exercise obtains better results for diabetics than aerobic exercise,
