  1. Hi everyone, has anybody out there found a good set of food-weighing scales to take on holiday or when eating out? I usually take the Salter ones I use in the kitchen but they're heavy to lug about in a handbag. I'm tired of having to adjust after failed guesses. Even though I use the carbs and cals app. I still seem to get the amounts and values wrong. And how can you ask politely whether they've added secret ingredients in the kitchen or they've opened a packet of wonder-condensed-high sugar flavour enhancer to make that 'home-cooked' experience?
OK, I'm sounding miffed, and maybe I should just sit outside and eat my sarnies, but hey, surely there's a way to join in the fun without paying for it twice over.
