  1. yesterday down the allotment had a bad spell of giddiness as I was digging , later (2hrs or so ) when I checked my BG it was down to 4 !!
    Would this be due to the exercise, I have never suffered this before, and no one has warned me about this should I take something with me just I case ???:confused::confused:
  2. just been down the allotment for about 3hrs digging (I let things slip down there for about 18 months as I've been ill ) so it's been hard work very hot and light headed when I got back home so I tested my BS 5.6 , so I must be very unfit and badly out of shape .
    New treadmill tomorrow and a new pair of trainers I'm gonna get fit again if it kills me or should that be before it kills me :oops::oops:
  3. I'm a bit confused to get the vat exemption for diabetics do we have to apply for a certificate or do we get this automaticity.?
    It would appreciated if some one could clear this up for me Thanks. JJ
  4. They say wild game ( venison,pheasant,wild duck Ect ) is said to be low fat meat , does anyone know of any good recipes for wild game that may fit the bill for a type 2 like me
    I have a good supply and the freezer is over full at the moment
  5. Hi to you all
    I've just found out I have got type 2 and finding it very confusing , I'm 61years old and drive for a living class1 HGV , doctor said here a prescription and see the nurse .
    Nurse says eat sensible??? And look on the web ??? Can't make them understand can't always eat well or at regular times , I don't always get home and if I do it can be after a 15 hr day plus the journey home , I'm sure I will manage some how but at the moment getting very little help . Can anyone tell me when I should be invited to go on an awareness course, or healthcare team ?
