  1. I have been told that I have prediabetes as my blood sugar level is 5. My GP told me that I need to follow a diabetic diet and to look it up online. I am also overweight. I am confused as to what I should be eating and how much. Do I follow a low carb diet or a low GI diet? I need some guidelines on a diet which will stop me developing type 2 diabetes and also one which will help me to lose weight. I also have fibromyalgia to add to the mix which prevents me from exercising regularly. I would appreciate some help as soon as possible please.
