  1. Hi. I don't come here often but I am so fed up of getting nothing from Doctors I thought you guys might be able to help. I have been suffering a lot of pain for about 10 years or more. Feels like inflammatory pain. Stems from joints but also in tissue. Elbows and hands are the worst. I have also had 3 frozen shoulders in this period. I have seen rheumatologists off an on for years with no definitive diagnosis other than undifferentiated connective tissue disease probably Lupus. However, I am not sure I believe it. none of the blood tests have defined anything. If my sugars are raised it gets a lot worse. I have been prescribed Hydroxychloroquine, Amitriptyline, anti-inflammatories, steroids and many others. none seem to make much of a difference. I am pretty sure it is inflammation caused by 30 years of type 1 diabetes. Does anyone else experience this and do you have any suggestions?
I get so fed up of going to the doctor and them just giving a half sympathetic smile and shrug of the shoulders. Or worse still trying to get me out the door as quickly as possible.(for the record I don't go often and I am not a malingerer :))
    Thanks in advance.
