  1. As a young person, It is not easy having this diagnosis. It is overwhelming. I had been guided by my doctor here, I always feel lost whenever a new diagnosis has happened. It's a cliche, let's not take one's health for granted. I would like to try the low carbs section even If I don't have motivation, there are peers there. I was on the atkins a decade ago twice managed to do it myself. So this should be easier. I was reading up on intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. And also watched for some reason competitive eating digressing but Is it worth putting one's health on the line, it's not a hobby? One doesn't appreciate something until it's on the other side, the grass is always greener on the other side I guess. I remember I had a friend and I sitting on a fence memory, in the middle of a filed. I fell, My friend was there whilst I picked myself up. I was really grateful. Now I'm having to do it myself. I guess apps such as these are a reminder that even if our personal experience we don't know how to takcle there will always be somebody who has gone through a similar set of experiences. I have started to write a gratitude journal. I also read and watched people's stories, or blogs But having the gratititude journal helped. Coming back to intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. I wonder whether seeing the I found more joy when I had learnt to cook, rather than buying food. Maybe writing down coping statements, or people you would go to, for those days that one hasn't kept the particularly for newbies, having health as a value, would help. I found a times article on the thing's that give satisfaction. It might seem a bit hard to follow what I wrote basically the first thing. This is an unfinished post.
