  1. At first diagnosis on 17 May my HbA1c was 110 and out of control. On 20 August my Doctor told me it was an amazing 50. In May, it was a wake-up call. Omitting all the cakes, puddings, biscuits, chocolates and sweet drinks has paid dividends. Instead I’ve been eating salads, fish, chicken, fresh vegetables, certain fruit and porridge with blueberries for breakfast.

I have received so many Posts saying how well I’ve done, which has given me the incentive to persevere. In case I’ve somehow missed replying to someone or if others I’ve previously had replies from over the last couple of months haven’t seen my Post of Friday 13th September, I’m writing this blog to express my thanks and appreciation to you all.
