  8. High in the early morning and a bit up and down in the last few hours of the day, but not too bad?

  9. I got out on my bike for a bit of socially distant exercise yesterday, which made me feel pretty good. It helped me sleep last night too.
  10. Stress is great for keeping blood sugars stable.

  11. Still improvements to be made. That's probably going to be a pretty constant theme here, especially with everything going on with the Coronavirus. I'll keep at it though.

  12. Almost forgot to post today! Got to keep the streak going.
  13. A much better day yesterday. Now I just have to keep it up! My morning cycle ride caused me to spike a bit, but I was pleased other than that.

  14. Plenty of room for improvement yesterday. I had a chat with my wife because I've realised I'm comfort eating during the Coronavirus outbreak. Hopefully that'll get me back on track. I went cycling this morning, keeping isolated from the few other people I saw on the way. The ride was around 13 miles – blood sugars went a bit higher than I expected, staying in the 6s and 7s since breakfast for the most part.

  15. As I mentioned yesterday, my wife and I had to venture forth to the hospital for a pregnancy scan. I'm pleased to report that we made it there and back, avoiding contact with people along the way. We had to walk (neither of us drive), and it took us a bit over an hour to get there – it's about a mile and a half, but we needed to go slowly for obvious reasons. The scan went well – no abnormalities detected, and the staff were brilliant. Hygiene, always focused on in any case, was further enhanced: we had to wait outside in the glorious sunshine until someone came to get us (the department was operating a 'one in, one out' policy) and we needed to sanitise our hands at various points.

My blood sugars went up into the 8s while walking. I had some glucose tablets as we went, but did not take into account the more leisurely pace we were travelling at. I normally walk very quickly, so was unprepared for the reduced drain on my blood sugars from the mild exercise.
