  1. Morning peeps, my husband and I are new to diabetes and to this very helpful site, he's t2 since February 2017 so very new! It's scary for us as he was given first Metforin 500mg 4td this gave him terrible stomach pains, I read here it's common, he's now on sr metfomin, occasionally gets pains, my question is my GP won't give him a testing kit, so how are we meant to know what foods cause a low or high, I'm going to buy one my self, what machine can people recommend please
