Crazy that GADs are not checked in all instances?! Wonder if it's a cost thing? Fingers crossed you don't have the commons GADs in your blood! For info (which you may know already!), there are other types of antibodies linked with T1D, so no GADs may not be 100% indicative that you've been T2...

That's good advice! I've found when I over indulge and have something like Fish & Chips or a takeaway, I inject my insulin in 2 stages in about a 60:40 split. Staggered bolus I call it. So for example: 100g Carbs = 10 units NovoRapid, I'd take 6 units at time of eating and 4 units 2 hrs later...

I think I got my basal and bolus the wrong way round... [emoji23]I always do this! Luckily I inject the right type! Bolus is 1 u for 25 g carbs Basal = 4 units/day (2 am & 2 pm)
