    Type of diabetes:
    Type 2
    Treatment type:
    Tablets (oral)

Now into my third decade with T2 diabetes.
On stable dose of Gliclizide (60mg) for 20+ years. Hba1c has varied betwee 40 and 46 for as long as I can remember.
My take on the question “Is T2 a progressive disease? “ is yes, but the rate and extent of that progression is something that can be moderated / affected by choices I make
Current dietary choices - 35- 50g daily carbs, moderate protein and fat, monitor weight and calories then adjust dietary intake as indicated
