    Type of diabetes:
    Type 1
    Treatment type:
    Tablets (oral)
Linagliptin once daily and 200mg MR Metformin.
Daughter T1D March 2018 Lantus NovoRapid Basel Bolus
Walking only but about 1 hour per day or 12,000 steps. Planning to start the Kettle Bells again.
Daughter - T1D Diagnosed March 2018. Currently Basel/Bolus using Lantus/Novorapid. Self funding Freestyle Libre.

Me - Diagnosed Type II in 2000 after self testing blood and high BG spot test. Initial Glucose tolerance test confirmed type II although HBa1C was "borderline" and no medication required. Adjusted diet and exercise, then "forgot" about diabetes after a 6 month of test. 5 years later after a loss of consciousness episode my BG's were 29.6. Private test show GAD antibodies and I am LADA (type 1.5) and back to "thinking" like a diabetic and trying to understand LADA (this as of Jan 2015)

Diagnosed Type II 2000. Now diagnosed LADA / Type 1.5 with positive GAD Antibodies. Currently LCHF and trying to get an idea of what and where my BG's are and what works for me (Jan 2015)
