Don't give up hope. Take action. I swear that once you get your blood sugars under control the fog will lift and you will be able to think clearly. You do have to undergo the discomfort of hunger. Make preparations. Don't stress yourself about anything else. Make this your priority. Do it now. What are you waiting for?

I am 46, married with three grown up children. Dx'ed April 2005 (actually diagnosed myself - asked Doc to test me and his reply was it was 'highly unlikely' but I was right (unfortunately) and he was wrong! Took it very badly nevertheless and struggle to this day with anxiety and depression about it -neither of which I have been treated for.

Embarking on ND with no support from Docs (as per) on week four but had a blip last week.
