My husband has had cancer. Stress and comfort eating along with no exercise has resulted in my blood sugar and my weight going up. I hate it but I have a book which helped me to lose more than 2 stones previously, called Fat Round the Middle by Marilyn Glenville . It isn't specifically written for diabetics but it could have been. Her advice is fantastic and I lost 2 stones.

Im so sorry to hear about your husband's cancer. I can't even imagine what that's like :(

Thank you for the book recommendation I will look into it on line.
