I think you need to PM DCUKMod one of the other moderators. I don’t think you can do it yourself. Hang on I’ll double check for you.

Hi Rachox, How are you going today? I'm not sure what fasting is, but in answer to your question about my BGL's at 06:30 this morning they were 8:5.

I’ve answered your question on the thread but fasting is the first test of the day, done ideally as soon as you wake up. Even better to do it before you get out of bed and start moving around.

Hi Rachox, I just want to thank you for your kind welcome back onto this forum, also for your suggestion of reading Daisy1's Thread, as I remember her from my original visit to this forum, so again Thank You!

You’re welcome. I joined coming up to a year ago when I was first diagnosed and have found this Forum so helpful, not sure if I’d be in such a good place if I hadn’t stumbled across it the night I was diagnosed!

The hospital has rung and given me a new date of 22nd, next Friday. Long enough to feel better I hope but not too long to wait.

Pip sent my thread off on a tangent yesterday thinking I had my op yesterday. It was just my pre op assessment yesterday! But thank you for thinking of me. My op date is Dec 14th x

        I did wonder!
So I thought I'd check with you today.

Only a few weeks. Did you feel you relayed your needs and anxieties well?

Yes they were all really lovely and understanding. Put my mind at rest about it all. I’ll miss my coconut ‘porridge’ for breakfast but looks like I’ll probably get scrambled eggs!
