Can't believe that someone else remembers him. There was a film of his life (The Impossible Dream?) out last year. Unbelievably he's coming up to seventy - and he's still only 4ft 9!

    May 2, 1965 (Age: 53)
    I occupy my own world
T2 warrior but it doesn't pay the bills
    Type of diabetes:
    Type 2
    Treatment type:
    Tablets (oral)
    Met time release
    Strong man and walking
eggs, tomatoes spinach. Picking up heavy things and putting them down somewhere else
large empty spaces on my dinner plate - before I've started eating
Currently born in 1965, on October 24th 1986 and most recently in October 2015. I was born to be amazing, to fight adversity and come out shining. I am the exception to the rule. In a past life I earned the nickname 'Phoenix'. I've tried to live up to that name.

I'm in my 50's. I have a list of exactly what I want to achieve and I can honestly say that a £ sign doesn't figure anywhere. I want to be happy. I want to make people laugh and embrace life. I want to be an inspiration.

And when that list is completed....................My eulogy has been written. I'd like to be left in a woodland with a huge bar of chocolate, a crate of grapefruit (I have missed these more than anything) and a bottle of 1965 Glen Grant.

And when you throw the box on the bonfire, don't let them keep the brass handles and make sure 'Swords of a Thousand Men' is playing.

I have the 1965 Glen Grant, but I'm in no rush......just yet.
