      Re: Precious McKenzie.
Can't believe that someone else remembers him. There was a film of his life (The Impossible Dream?) out last year. Unbelievably he's coming up to seventy - and he's still only 4ft 9!

  • About

    May 2, 1965 (Age: 52)
    Type of diabetes:
    Type 2
    Treatment type:
    Tablets (oral)
    weight lifting, long distance walking
large empty spaces on my dinner plate - before I've started eating
Born in 1963, '65 and in a freak lightning storm in the summer of 1972 respectively in a bus shelter in Sutton, on the Albert Bridge and a small maternity hospital on the Isle of Skye, I had an unusual childhood and an ever stranger time as an adult. I learned to dodge bullets, speak gibberish and look at everything through a warped sense of purpose. I am now a very old man, so much older than my wisdom (which I keep well hidden) would have you beleive. I have twin daughters who amaze and scare me in equal measure, a wife who frightens me but lets me get away with so much and an imagination that only untrained children can understand. I live in a complete fantasy land. I wear a lilac shirt on Mondays. I try to finish work by Friday lunchtime and every year I book the same hotel suite and have the same sun bed, near the pool, and the toilet but in sight of the bar. I will do anything for my friends, but if I wipe my feet when leaving your house, you will never see or hear from me again. My Mum thinks I have Paul Newman's eyes. I think they're more like John Belushi's. I'm terrible with names.
