Diet controlled using LCHF gives Hb of 5.9. Some days it's very hard work to avoid those carbs.

    Type of diabetes:
    Type 2
    Treatment type:
    Diet only
    Medication:
    None
    Exercise:
Gardening, walking dog, housework , shopping - amazingly flexible, energetic and pain free considering that I am quite lazy really. Exercise doesn't seem to affect my bloods at all. Probably because I am older.
    Likes:
Spending time with my family. Dogs. Reading. My iPad, clothes.
    Dislikes:
    Cruelty. I am kind.
Diagnosed in 2010. Drugs do not agree with me. So diet control. I have learned that diabetes makes you more aware of your body, and that unhappiness is the most damaging thing for health.
My control fluctuates, I don't expect to live forever, I try to stay healthy. I hope to succeed.

    Signature

Type2 diagnosed 2010, diet controlled, LCHF.
    Occasionally fall off the wagon.
Diabetes NOT progressing. No complications. As yet.
