    Will insurance pay out?

I doubt it - I'm never that lucky!! Worth an ask to see if anyone on the forum knew before I go through boxes of paperwork to try and find my policy! I took out critical illness cover with my mortgage 12 years ago or so. Do you think they will pay out? Ted

Testing after Food - help please.

Hi Everyone, Is it possible to test to see what foods effect my BG without waiting for 2 hours? Can I test after say 30mins? I appreciate it won't be a true reading but would it be OK as a comparison? I am testing but the trouble is a lot of meals have more than one component so I don't know...

This is why the NHS should provide Type 2's

... with meters and strips! In my old job I used to get be angry, agitated and just savage in the afternoon which I naturally blamed on a stressful day. Since being diagnosed with Type 2 I looked back and thought these 'mental moments' were due to low BS. However, today I got the same feeling...

    Keep Calm and Carry On!

Hi everyone. I have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks but thought I would join and say hi. Hi! And share my experience with others. 5 weeks ago I went to the Docs with what I thought was a bout of tonsillitis. Was a bit surprised when Doc asked if I drank a lot of water (no), pee a...
