I am a single man, with two grown up children and at the moment three grandchildren. I have worked the majority of my life in the building and civil engineering industries. I started my own companies while I was in the industries and was quite successful but unfortunately a slow down in workload forced me to close the business and take a job as an employee. Because of my experience and qualifications I was lucky enough to find employment as a manager and because of my diabetes and other illnesses I had to retire early on medical grounds.
