Hi I was looking to have something converted. Its in pmol/L.

I was wondering if someone could convert this pmol/L into actual unit of insulin for me.

The pmol/L is 402.

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to convert? Your insulin should be measured in units and not need any conversion.

If you're unsure about dosage, it's best to check with your doctor or DSN.

Its a report from a coroner. That's how they measured the insulin levels in the said persons system before death. I Dont understand the whole pmol/L either azure smthats why I asked on here.

Ok. That sounds like something more specialist than people here would know. I think you should seek further information. I'm not sure whether a doctor would be able to help. If not - and please don't answer if this would be giving personal information - could you go back to the coroner's office and ask for verification and an explanation if it's something you have concerns about?

Hi MDxx,

From what I've gathered, pmol/L is a measurement of how much insulin is in the body in SI units. By looking at the link below, 402 pmol/L does not seem to be excessive at all. I hope this helps you, and sorry for your loss.

Thank you dylt1 this has actually helped me a lot. Not so much in the units but to know by what you have just linked me its not that's much extra insulin. Thank you so very much x
