hi can any one tell me if I am on the right track. Diagnosed October 14 Hb1ac was 146 then 53,62,59,53 I take 3 X metformin 500mg a day and 1vipidia 25g. I did take gliclaside but too many hypos so withdrawn.
I have reduced my carbs, my meter is a Gluco nexus RX my last 90 day readings are as follows
7day. 5.6 mol/L
14day 5.7
21day 6.0
28day 6.2
60day 6.2
90day 6.5
I see there is many ways these readings can can be interpreted but that's were I struggle. Am I on track for. Hbalc 48 or below or will they be a lot higher my next text is due 7th March 16
Any advice welcome

Here you go :)

From this, your 90 day meter average of 6.5 mmol/l equates to an HbA1c of approx 40.

But don't assume your actual a1c will be a precise match to your meter.
Meters have variances, and it all depends on whether you have been testing at times to catch the fluctuations (my a1c is always a bit higher than my meter suggests it will be).

But it is looking good.

Well done :D
