Hi everyone.

I was wondering if someone could please give me a little advice.

Unfortunately, I had to have my beloved cat of 23 years (Dee Dee) put to sleep yesterday. I couldn't face food all day but I still took my Metformin morning and evening.

Around 10pm I started to experience palps and I'm now wondering if my blood sugar would have been low due to not eating and lowered even more by the Metformin. They lasted around an hour and I haven't had them today.

Sorry if I sound stupid but Diabetes is still very new to me and I am still learning.

I would be grateful for any advice.

Thank you so much. :):) :(:(

Just wanted to say so sorry you lost your lovely cat. It may well be the Metformin on its own that did it, Do eat hun, and take care.

Thank you so much for your kind words Dawn. I really appreciate it.

I reckon it might have beem the Metformin but then again it could have been the upset of losing Dee Dee.

Thanks again Dawn xx
