Hi I've been Type 1 diabetic for 40yrs. I never had warning signs of hypo's until getting my pump almost 2yrs ago. Have finally been allowed to start diving does anybody else dive & have any advice or management tip for me? Thanks

i too am interested in Scuba Diving, only ever been snorkelling. However, one tip I do have which can be shared between, is that a dry bag is very useful when out in the water. It is essentially a waterproof bag, that can provide floatation. Not all can be submerged deeply as in scuba diving but there is some that are more suitable for diving than others. Do it it's amazing I agree my dry bag is most important bit of my kit!!! Keep my pump blood test stuff etc. I keep a glucose gel on me when underwater. Attach gel by putting band of old wetsuit around my arm then easily accessible to your buddy. You have same birthday as me
