Hi I was diagnosed as type 2 6 years ago my own fault mega fat chef on 6 2 ltr bottles of coke and about 40 coffees with 2 sugars a day. anyway cut out all the **** lost 13 stone and got off everything(metephormin). Then 10 weeks ago went loopy and woke up in hospital with type 1 nearly died happy days. Now taking novo rapid and lanctus my blood average has come down to 10 from the monitor nearly melting but now after 6 weeks self medicating my stomach is so sore it can't be touched my feet are frozen and my legs don't work properly. diabetes sucks my doctors ain't much help keep telling me it's a virus but one G-doc thought I might be allergic to insulin???. Can't win
